I took a detour a way back, am trying to find the road again, but the watchamacolits keep destracting me.

What doesn't help is when you get one of those crappy local gas station maps cause your last one blew out the window, put mysterious stains all over it & every time you dig it out of the glove box or from under the empty wrappers on the floor it's never folded the same damn way.
I've wasted a lot of time back-tracking from the way others have told me to head, based on their ideas of what I should be. Probably halfway there.

I don't know how far i am.
I hope I am near the end because I have had so many things happen in my 21 years.
My parents' divorce (my father never came back), the death of my beloved grandmother, the Chicken Pox going to my brain, the death of my first son, nearly dying while having my second son, being homeless . . . and plenty more. I've seen a lot in 21 years.

I am 25% of the way there. It's hard because everytime I think I am going in the right direction I sometimes take the wrong exit and need to start over again....

I'm totally lost .... don't even know how to get to the gas station, my radiator hose has a fast leak and I can only make it every mile to the next exit to scrounge for a few gallons of water to get to the next exit ......... and I'm in the dessert .....
