Im very sorry to hear that. I had to wait as well on another cancer biopsy. All I can say is to try and keep busy if possible, relax the best you can -I know it will be really hard, call some friends or hang out with family members, go out and do something , just try different things to keep yourself busy. Best of luck to you , truly. Will be thinking of you.

Also as a medical records tech at one time you can get the results yourself if they were done at a hospital. Just call the hospital/records department and ask what the procedure is to get your records. Usually means signing a paper and paying a dollar or so. I didnt want to wait till my doctor called me for mine so I went and got mine. *hugs*

I find that interesting since when my tumor (called a "nodule" if in the thyroid), the results were known before I was sewn back up. If it were cancerous, the entire thyroid and the thyroid were to be removed. If not, the remaining part of the thyroid was to be sewn, all the parts put back into place, and the neck incision closed. Thank G-d, it was the latter.

I am sorry! I once had to wait for biopsy results, and you really do start doing a mental inventory and shifting through your priorities. Just breathe....it'll be okay.

Try to stay busy and don't think about it. Go to a movie or out with friends & spend as little time idle as possible.
