I was wondering if I could buy a phone from AT&T and use a Sprint contract?

Go to EBay and look for the phone that you want. Does sprint use a sim card? If they do then look for an Unlocked phone.
You can do a search on there then narrow it down to service providers.

AT&T hmm you mean iPHONE and use it on Sprint?
Well not when AT&T is paying Apple for the privilage of selling iPHONES.
Most USA phones are 'locked' to the carrier of the seller.
In Europe its different. You can use any phone and install the carrier's sim chip.
