Will occasionally get one in change. This spring, while in Las Vegas, got a few from the slot machines at Slots A Fun, and Circus Circus.

Yeah. I think what happened was that in the 1960's they changed the half so that it had John F Kennedy's picture on it. So many of these were saved as keepsakes by people--it was a big deal when they came out, as I recall--that they essentially never circulated. The silver half dollars were pulled out of circulation by silver speculators and melted down. And so that was that. By the 1970's, they started making vending machines that wouldn't take half-dollars.

I kind of miss them, but I have great hope for the dollar coins.

Pound = $50 distant places funds replace is a million pound = $a million.40 8 funds a million dollar = 0.sixty 8 pounds Conversion from pounds into funds: 50 * a million.40 8 = $seventy 4 funds So 50 pounds will purchase you $seventy 4 funds. Conversion from funds into pounds: 50 / a million.40 8 = 33.seventy 8 pounds So $50 funds will purchase you 33.seventy 8 pounds. I have not have been given any concept what you're asking on your question, yet i'm assuming certainly one of those conversions will answer your question.

They are rare, but they are out there. Ask a Friend who works as a cashier to watch for them, or you may find one at a bank.

They exist only in collections, or by buying directly from the Mint or coin dealers.
