I hated to see him go, but now that is a Cub will he come kill The Tigers in the World Series this year?

You guys are missing my point. I know he;snot doing well this year, and I am glad we have maybin. All I was asking is that when he plays against us will he motivated to show us up???

Thats a question every club has to ask when they trade a popular or good player. The Yankees are doing that this season with Gary(ME ME ME) Sheffield. So far it hasn't bit us in the backside but you never know when.

Hmm... it all depends if you make the world series... haha j/k.

Trust me, if there is one think I know about Monroe, (which is only based on what I see on Detroit vs. Minnesota) he'll be a big impact for the Cubs in a good way, but big enough to dominate the series? I wouldn't say so.

no goergie. would'nt you take cameron maybin over monroe anyday? you know baseball, cubs wont even get in to the w.s. it will be d'backs,padres,or mets, or someone. he won't play everyday either probably in a platoon role with cliff floyd in right or jaque jones where ever he plays now.

No. Sure he can hit for power OCCASIONALY, but he hits below .250 and always strikes out.
