Yes, but I'm never pro-active in my bravery...So in real life, I think I'm actually afraid of lots of things like the dark (night lights are integral to my home decorating), heights make me nauseous (so I'm not going to climb the stairs of the lighthouses), and I'm not crazy about finding a TARANTULA (what I call ANY spider) in my bathroom --- BUT, if a situation presents itself which calls for some 'brave' action, I seem to go on auto-pilot and will do exactly what I'm supposed to do. I'm not sure I can even take credit for it because after it's all over and I think back on it, I feel like it was an out-of-body experience. So maybe it's really not bravery -- more like schizophrenia or a dual personality! There's always time for a nervous breakdown AFTER the drama's over!

You decide. I have waded into disagreements to prevent people from being beaten. I have also civilian patrolled certain high crime areas at night. These were areas that the police would not enter after dark. I have also hunted people who were members of organizations on the State Department's list of terrorists. However, I am not fond of heights ever since scrambling off a crumbling cliff side.
To those who think that you are afraid of being alone in the dark, you are not. What you are afraid of is that you might not be alone. Think about it.

Sometimes I wonder how I'd act in a disaster if I see something on the news or witness a bad wreck. You just don't know how brave you are until it's time to make that split second decision.

I am pretty brave about most things, I just had some wicked storms where I am, bad lightning. I am not too fond of lightning that is for sure, but I am not scared either. I just won't go out in it.

Thunderstorms!? Maybe you just haven't enjoyed one properly yet?
Brave... I don't know. Not so much as just simply stubborn probably.

Even the brave get scared sometimes, that is the difference between bravery, and foolishness.

Thunderstorms don't bother me. Creepy crawly things do.
As far as standing up to people. I'm okay unless it has to do with protecting my family...then I become a bear.
