What are the laws in Texas for carrying pepper spray?

I was thinking of buying pepper spray for protection but before I do I need to know if there is any laws I need to know about.

It's legal to carry in Texas; I used to live there, and knew a half-dozen people who carried it. Just remember, it's a weapon that can be used against you if someone ELSE gains control of it.
