I know what you mean. I don't know if you like any of these but some are interesting.
Girls - Susannah, Ceres, Louise, Helena, Lavinia, Nerissa, Rosalind, Timandra, Jeanette, Amelia, Diana, Ingrid, Tabetha, Fabienne, Dominique, Elowen, Constance, Elspeth, Lulu, Margarete, Casey, Sigrid, Astrid, Anita, Briar, Carmen, Aden.
For boys names I think there are always the classic names that have been around forever like William, Andrew, John, Peter, Paul, Mark, Matthew. I tried to come up with different names that aren't fad names.
Boys - Alec, Heath, Charles, Kyle, Derek, Charlie, Kirk, Bryce, Vance, Casey, Keiran, Aaron, Curt, Duncan, Harvey, Dean, Jared, Tate, Edward, Oscar, Deacon, Cole, Brent, Grant, Karl, Clive, Graham, Trent, Dale, Dane, Earl, Dominic, Gareth, Douglas, Max.
It was so much harder to think of boys names than girls. I hope this is the kind of names you were meaning? ;)

I agree with you on the names you aren't interested in. I really don't like any of those kinds of names either which makes it hard to find a name for my 4th child due in November!
I like:
Tallulah
Matilda (Waltzing Matilda...Australian song)
Eve
Ruby
Felix
Banjo (after my dads favourite poet Banjo Patterson)
I am sure there are more but those are the only ones I can think of off hand.
Best of luck to you.
EDIT...Gee people sure can be rude when you are specific about what you want! I can't believe some of the responses you have had for being honest about what you like!
By the way...LOVE the name Frankie! It is one of the names on my shortlist for my daughter!

Magnus has a long standing history. Popular name until about 80 years ago, but still popular in areas of Scandanavia.
Cedric is another. Can you tell? These were on my baby name list, but guyfriend has shot them down (for first names anyway).
For girls, I have a relative born in the 1800s named Theodosia. Of course, variants of Margaret are another option. I really like Mythic or ancient greek names like Cassiopia.

I am partial to classic names, the sort you occasionally hear but aren't duplicated ten times over in the day care or the classroom.
Girl's names: Celeste, Elyse, Melinda, Roxanne, Victoria
Boy's names: David, Simon, William, Macadam, Wyatt
Congratulations and Good Luck with your little one!

My son's name, Azriel, is biblical. It can also be spelled Asrael, and I'm sure other ways as well. I was actually kinda shocked, but the nurse at his pediatrician's office has a son just a couple of months older than mine named Azriel as well.
Other boys names I really like, that I think fit your profile are:
Nikolai
Bran (short for Brandon)
Cole
Brock
Crispen
Kaden (or Kaydn if you want to spell it like Haydn)
Shane
Jackson
Asher
Aston
Girls names I like that you MIGHT like are:
Sarai - Biblical
Antigone (from ancient greece, I like "Tig" as a nickname)
Cera - (Not a "mispelling" but not traditional "Sarah" either)
Aria
Alia
Qira or Kira
Tara
Kora
Myra
Marissa
Hope
Elise

I have one name Echo. You don't have to like I just think the story is neat. Echo was a nymph who pined for her love until only her voice was left. It's a Greek myth. Her few other names- Katerina, Bridget, and Ophelia. Boy names - Luke, Ian, and Isaiah.

I love Delilah!
You do seem to have some pretty firm ideas on what kinds of names you want... but hey, if you are not specific, you are gonna get a lot of crappy responses you don't give a crap about enough to even read, right?
Okay.
Girls:
Milicent
Nanette
Corrine
Boys:
Ephram
Daryll
Merryweather was a popular boys first name for several hundred years.... lol.

Delilah is SO over used b/c of the song. I hate it. I think there is probably going to be a ton of babies with that name. You should pick something that there won't be 15 kids in her/his class with the same name.
how about Arianna. I think that's a pretty name.
