First off, Stephon Marbury is an overrated arrogant (self-proclaimed greatest point guard in the NBA?) D-League level player who couldn't play his way out of a wet paper bag......as for what he said about dogfighting, Marbury just admitted that he takes part in this. Maybe the Feds should start watching HIM. However, if it IS a sport, then Marbury should definitely be in line for one of Michael Vick's "executions", cause he sure is one terrible ball player!
One poster mentioned in another thread "haven't you done anything wrong that you're ashamed of?". Yes I have, and I'm sure everyone has. Examples: rang someone's door bell then ran away, broke a neighbor's window with a baseball and didn't fess up to it, cut class, smoked in the bathroom. Holding illegal dogfights and executing underperformers or dogs that refused to fight is unlikely to be on anyone's list.

He is stuck between a rock and a hard place in his career. Marbury doesn't have the skill to be a starting point guard. And his ego is too big to come off the bench and be a good sixth man. Eventually his contract will be bought out and we won't see him again.
Sadly his comment about dog fighting represents a lot of other people's opinion. I was just viewing poll results on Yahoo and it said that about 20% of the poll takers think of dog fighting as a sport. It isn't that these people and Marbury are misinformed. They are heartless human beings.

Stephon Maurbury has the right to give his opinion, as do we all, so that's how I take it. That's why we live in this great country and have freedom of speech.

I am a Knicks fan, and really liked Steph, but now, I'm just sad and disappointed.I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I disagree with him. I am sick of all "ball" sports--the players think they are gods because that's what they are told all the time, and they end up believing it.

They play sports so let them play and judge them by that not by there personal lives...Cause if you wanna say something bout that they rich and you not so they life is still better(probably not Vicks soon) but he got rich himself and he is important enough if every 1 has to say something...You know them cause they play sports and thats the only thing you know bout them so leave it at that unless you know them personally
