hi i live in new york and im looking for schools that are in connecticut or new york area. i want to go to an ACTUAL school because everytime i look online im getting these crappy "online ABC" classes. i personally think you will learn better if the classes was on hand training. overall all im looking for a job that involves animals so for some reason its really hard to find schools that does so. like VET TECH. i wanted to go for VET TECH but yeh, no schools around here... so umm..if you can help me with both thatll be great thanks :D
or any other animals jobs and schools in these areas. thatll be great also

The ABC classes do include hands on experience. You work with a certified trainer once a week.

There is an online school called Penn Foster. It is a 4 semester school and at the end of semester2 and 4 you go do 9 week clinicals. The price is good too and you do get your degree and not a diploma.

You can take classes on-line to get an A.S. in veterinary technology. Many states now offer them. Make sure they are accredited by the AVMA--some are not.
