Sims 2 Pets or Sims 2 Seasons?

Get Seasons . it is sooo much better than pets. I know, i have both.
Seasons has new activites like fishing, puting away leftovers, making snowmen, having snowball fight, playing catch, water balloon fight, making snow angels, and giving gifts. U CAN ALSO ICE SKATE IN THIS GAME!!
There's a whole new sense of bring families together in this game. There are also cool weather efffects like rain , lightning, and my fave snow.
In seasons, u can tend gardens, join the garden club, and become a plant sim. become a plant sim by spraying ur lemon, apple, or orange trees tooo much. I really enjoy tending gardens because when u harvest fruits and veggies, u can eat them or make juice withthe new juicer. new clothes, hairstyles, places to go, and new country style furniture.
There's a new neighborhood with the game called Riverblossom hills. I like the pre-made houses and families there like the Roth house.
I am so glad i got this expansion because it is sooo much fun! good luck :) !!

While I don't have Seasons yet, I can't really say if the game is great or not, but I'll do my best to compare them for you.

Pets added nothing new, except pets. It's a lot better than the original's game, Unleashed. You can customize your cats and dogs in an almost unlimited number of patterns and colors. But that's about all the game has to offer. The only new jobs are for the pets.

For seasons, you get new jobs, new clothes, new items, new building options. I've heard it's great, and it looks great too. You can choose your seasons, you can have them rotate, you can have your favorite season all year 'round (spring all year anyone?), plus you can grow your own garden.

If I had the option between the two, I think I would've picked Seasons before Pets any day. Only because it has more to offer. The pets are cool, but it gets very boring quickly.

the person above me is over exaggerating seasons a bit. i have the game and it is exciting at first, but after a while the weather begins to get annoying- like when you want to have a party outside and there is a thunderstorm. i do however like the new objects that come with seasons.

in the case of pets, you do get some new items. there is futuristic themed furniture and plenty of new wall art. for me, i really enjoy having animals so i particularly enjoy the pets expansion pack.

they are both very good expansion packs, so i would choose which features you would enjoy more- weather, or animals.
