YES!!! You just described my life!!!! Ok so I had this BF that i was in no way planning on spending my life with, but I got prego and so i was like ok well what do we do. he said abortion i said adoption. I didn't like his idea and he didn't like mine. So I kept the baby he is 7 now and in second grade. I dont' regret it now but i do wish that i could have given him a better life. there is a huge difference between him and my other 2 kids that i had with my husband. They had a mom and dad togeter all the time and were truly wanted and planned for. So on that end i wish I could have adopted him out but not anymore he is my sweet baby and he is a huge helper. So yes there were and are regrets but i wouldn't change my life now for anything.

Actually I bet about 30% of people have children that way actually. My mom regreted getting pregnant with some guy until she had me and then she didn't feel like it was such a big mistake.

readers digest version...i started dating a guy that i didn't like because i was down in the dumps. we started dating in february; he moved in the beginning of march, and i was pregnant by the end of march. 2 weeks before i found out i was pregnant he beat the crap out of me ( i was 20 years old). i found out i was pregnant. he told me to "fall down the stairs and get rid of the problem" and if i didn't want to, he'd help me. the relationship ended...obviously and i now have a beautiful 9 1/2 year old little girl. he has nothing to do with her, nor has he ever. we last spoke when i was 6 months pregnant. i am now happily married to a man who has adopted her and is truly her "dad" and i have a 6 year old son.

No but for a dude that would suck. I think I wouldn't want anything to do with the child if it was a one night stand. Just take care of the baby, but hopefully she wouldn't keep it.

My lady. That seems so sad that tears can not tell your story as well as your echoing words. I also have not seen my 139 children around the world as I sail forth to another land

Yes, my husband at the time. If you do not respect the father, it will come thru to your child. Let's face it, he is a part of the child.
