Read "Love must be tough" and "The Rules" if you want a full, detailed explanation.

A short version--think about all of the unhappy couples you know. One is too needy and one can't stand the other. This always happens in unhappy relationships. It happens when relationships get off balance, and when people don't have lives outside of their relationships.

A better way is to make sure that you have your own life outside of your man, and to make him schedule your time so he chases after you--that's a nicer way of doing it than treating him like crap.

A man may conclude if a woman is "too available" for him than she may be a woman he can't trust to be faithful to him.

I don't know about treating a man lousy and them chasing you for it.

I am a man and I sure have seen a lot of ratty guys treat woman lousy and they go for it.

Fortunately for me I married the best woman in the world.

This may be with men who are not sensitive to others feelings. I for one do not believe all this crap. But this is true generally because men like to "conquer". And the quarry must provide something of a challenge. Girls who know this act along... all a matter of psychology.

If a woman treated me like crap, I'd be like,

Me: "Hey, woman! Get your self back in the kitchen and make babies! Then stop trying to make babies with Xenu and make me a sandwich! Then knit me a sweater that reads, well, you're a woman so you can't read, just knit me a sweater."

Woman: "Get over here!"

Me: "Okay honey, me so sorry. So so sorry."

There are just so many things wrong with this dialect, no?

I wouldn't want to be with a woman who treated me like crap. If I know the woman is intrested it's alot easier to approach her.

well you better know who you are doing that to- if you turn on me- ill be like your worst enemy. so you treat me like crap- you aint getting me to do anything. i wont even notice you- if i did ill most likely do something bad to you. so the thing you are doing might work on some guys pretty much guys that act like babies for more intelligent guy- its bye bye.

i doubt it. i always wondered the same thing. personally, i think that he will like you for you, not how available you or if you play hard to get.
