yea, and then they say "pick me as best answer." two things i would never add into my answer. its annoying. i could under stand they saying that they hoped they helped but asking to be picked as best answer is kinda rude.

I do that, and I know it can be annoying, but the reason I do it (and it's not for 10 pts. either) is that I hate answering a question in detail and having the asker think that I answered everything except what he / she asked. I'm very conscientious of my posts, and I like to think I did a good job. I have obviously no idea how many others do this for this reason. Hope that helps! Just kidding.

I guess it's because they are really hoping to help. And maybe coz they are aiming for the 10 points.

It is our way of ensuring that worst comes to worst if we did not answer the question then by adding that part at the end then it will appear that we did not understand. It is all psychology in the end.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just trying to be nice? Who cares really...if you are going to participate you have to not only read annoying as hell questions but read their annoying as hell answers. Its the nature of the Yahoo! Answers Beast!

I dont know.. Maybe cuz they hope their answer helps? But some people do that to every answer so i dono.. or good luck.. when it doesnt even make sense..
