My best friend, we knew each other for 4 years already. But then she called me names and punching and hitting me! It's like she changed! She call me retarded and she told everybody I like this guy which i don't! I don't even know the dude! Some advice?

Wow that is some personality change. Is it possible that she's been taking some drug that has caused her personality to be altered?
That's a really hard situation. One of the only things you can do is just try to be as nice to her as possible. Don't give anyone any reason to believe any of the nasty things she may have said about you. "Kill the devil with kindess". Have you tried asking her why she's mad at you? Even though it seems like you might not have done anything, maybe you could try saying, "Look I don't know why you're mad at me. If I've done something that's offend you then I'm sorry." Try not to sound like you're accusing her because that may just make her more mad. I hope it all goes well for you!

Now just think about what you said for a minute. She called you extremely insulting names and physically assaulted you and then spread lies about you. In what reality would anyone call that the behavior of a friend? Maybe she did change. She sounds a bit crazy now. It may be that she needs some mental health treatment. Perhaps you could tell some adult you trust about her behavior, if you are really concerned about her. But as far as interacting with her yourself. I would recommend that you avoid her and not contact her in any way.

Try talking to you bff....it cud be possible that sum1 she knows has started saying bad stuff abt u and she's starting to believe them...find out if she's been in connection w/ ppl that u don't like....they could be brainwashing her....or she could have found out some secret that u kept from her and that maybe why she's angry....
what i'd reccomend for you to do is call her or set up a date for her to come over for a girls night. tell her how you feel abt this and ask her why she's been doing this...tell her u don't like that guy AT ALL and that what she's been doing is hurting your feelings....just pour out ur feelings and see what happens...most likely she's gonna apologise to you....also try to find out if something is bothering her and thus she could be pouring all her anger onto u....ask her why she's acting like this when u guys r suppose to be best friends....if she doesn't react nicely to ur outbreak or if she acts like she doesn't care...then she isn't worth it.....but atleast you know you tried......

best friends really dont exist i had a friend like that people change ok and the best u can do is not be to close especially if she hits u just when u see her just say hi but dont hangout with her as much as u used to but dont ignor her that might cause more truble and just ignor her when she makes fun of u or spred rumors if theyr not tru u have nothing to worie about rit?^_^

i think shes taking advantage of you. maybe she doesn't realize this but it really hurts to have a friend do this. i suggest talking to her and how you feel about it. and if she doesn't understand i think itd be best to just become aqqaintances. i dont htink you need a friend like this and personally i dont think she could be called a friend if she treating you like that. talk to her if it doesnt get any better i think its time to go on and get a new bff.

girlfriend you are not alone! it happens to the best of us. you know this might not be how everyone goes about it but stay HEADSTRONG don't let the nasty rumors bring you down...talk to your friend...confront her and ask her whats wrong. if she won't tell you wait a few days and ask again. if she still won't tell you then maybe she isn't really your friend. and the whole guy thing....just deny it if anyone will ask and sooner or later people are bound to think its old news.

It depends. It could possibly be that she is just messing with you and being immature to get under your skin for fun. Or maybe she's just been spending too much time with you and you guys are starting to irritate each other. It's hard telling.
