do you rate an answer if...??

you aren't going to answer it, even if you answer it, do you give someone a thumbs up if you think they gave a better than you, or a thumbs down cause they gave a better one??

i give people a thumbs up if they answer like i would have or if they had a better one, fair is fair.

I will rate answers even if I'm not going to answer the question myself. If someone has a better answer than me, I will rate them thumbs up because like you said, fair is fair.

I will give thumbs up when I think their answer is good too, it is only thumbing so why not point it up, share the kindness right?

If I answer a question, I usually read all other answers and if I like their answers, I will give them a thumbs up.

whether my answer is better or not, i still rate them. i usually give thumbs up though. most answers are hilarious. but there are some stupid ones so they get thumbs down. lol

I give thumbs up for answers that were well thought out. I don't usually give thumbs down unless the person is just being stupid, rude, racist, or trying to get negative attention.

if i like there answer i give them a thumbs up..if theres is better i'll sometimes give a thumbs up or won't do anything

i give them a thumbs up if they make me laugh or if they're innovative and actually give good info. but if i have to give a thumbs down or more, i gotta do what i gotta do

If I provide an answer, then I do not rate anyone else. I consider that to be a conflict of interest.
