William Shatner was my first "crush" as a girl. I dated my first boyfriend because he looked a little like him. So I guess, no, he isn't annoying at all. Do you have something against ALL Canadians?

I hate Star Trek, I hate Priceline commercials and I've never been a fan of William Shatner's singing, BUT I've rediscovered him on Boston Legal and I think he's genius in the role of Denny Crane. I think, perhaps, that I have underestimated his talent in the past.

I think the most annoying actor is Will Smith. I'm not much of a Shatner fan but Will Smith just finished a remake of a classic sci-fi movie and it looks bad now. In movies he seems to make jokes at the wrong times.

I agree he is very disappointing. I grew up watching him on Star Trek, and I found him very influential. Maybe it was his role as captain of an important explorer program and he played the part perfectly. But then in later roles, particularly in the 90's and later, I find he is not the same person I once looked up too. Especially his goofy singing and that dumb role he played on Miss Congeniality. OMG, I was so let down. Have been ever sense, I still hope one day he can redeem himself, but not likely at this late point.

A lot of times, the person on the screen, is NOT the person in reality. Yes, he is a jerk.
In the 1960's there was a comedian named Jerry Lewis (Jerry's Kids). On tv and the movies he was wonderfully funny. In person, he was a big-time ******. Very rude.

My dear little miss annoyed, How can you say Capt. Kirk is annoying, I mean yes he has put on a few pounds and yes his nose is getting rounder but, as the years go by won't we all be a little more.....annoying. HAHA, avoid the noid.

How old are you? Those of us grew up with him around and saw him from all sides have a different perspective. He's actually very amusing and has a great sense of humor. I think he's added a great deal to our culture.
