I personally like to look at the domains that have expired in the last couple of days for ideas, also if you choose a domain that just expired you might pick up some additional website traffic from any google or yahoo listings that might have existed. lots of site offer this "expired domain" service and most are free. Here is one I just found http://www.deleteddomains.com go to the "expired today" tab then click the hyper text to do a search and look for name which expired and contain the word sports. you can also click the box that say exclude numbers and hyphens (definitely a good idea) Good luck.
