Barack Obama's middle name, Hussein, only matters to those who are fearful of anything that sounds Middle East; and, there are those who would use his name to inspire fear and mistrust of him.
Clinton, Bush, and Kennedy are names that also induce fear and mistrust in some. These names also inspire admiration among others.
Economic, social, and educational issues will be addressed by each of the final candidates for the next President of our United States. These issues, and only these issues, are more important, and have greater priority than a middle name.

It does rely by way of fact B. Hussein Obama Jr. is "Muslim by skill of heart". His college pals are muslim, He avoids going to Israel rally against Ahmadinejad, he will consult with a great form of those terrorist leaders without preconditions, and he helps united states of america's defeat interior the middle East!. So It does rely to Obama that he's perceived no longer as a Muslim by way of fact he's attentive to he won't be elected if he's a Muslim, no longer in united states of america and not immediately. there's no longer something incorrect with the Muslim faith as long as you at the instant are not the unconventional form. Islam is an honorable faith as long as you do no longer use it as a political occasion!....yet somebody forgot to tell Obama that!.

For some reason, middle names are brought up a lot in politics. Not just Obama. Yes his name is used as a tool sometimes, but only by extremists. However, I have heard a lot of politicians full names before George Herbert Walker Bush, Hillary Rodham Clinton, William Jefferson Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama, Franklin Delanor Roosevelt, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Richard Milhouse Nixon, on and on. It's just, important to some people, I guess.

Is George WALKER Bush related to John Anthony WALKER, Jr. (born July 28, 1937), a Chief Warrant Officer and communications specialist for the U.S. Navy, who sold his services as a spy to the Soviet Union from 1968 to 1985, the height of the Cold War era? In this time he helped the Soviets decipher over one million classified encrypted naval messages, and most observers agree that he was one of the most effective and destructive Soviet spies in US history.
Or is he related to the American Taliban, John Phillip WALKER Lindh (born February 9, 1981), an American citizen who was captured during the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan while fighting there for the Taliban.
Does anybody else see the connection? If not, quit capitalizing Obama's middle name!

It doesn't matter. People who are against him will look for anything they can to throw at him as a reason he shouldn't run. If it wasn't this they would find something else. Remember, most of this is coming from the right wing, the people who brought you Tammy Faye Baker and the rest of that group. Can they really be taken seriously.

I agree that someone's name is not important but his views ARE and I do not agree with Obama's views. My political views are libertarian. His are not.
I have heard some people try to make the case we should fear him because he visited a madras when he was younger. I do not buy this argument but this may have something to do with it.

I am not going to vote for someone named Barak Hussein Obama for the president of the USA. I want someone with an American name to be the American president. He will never get my vote.

I think that someones name should never be used to judge the person by. (along with race, sex, sexual orientation, etc.) I think with the coming election people should ask themselves what is most important to them and not what someones name is. yes i am a Democrat and a liberal. but I look at the candidate and what they saw not what others think. and i also know politics is about BS and how much they think yo want to hear.

His middle name is used as fodder for the ignorant and weak. Those who can not argue against him on merit will bring up his middle name. His middle name does not matter at all.

Gore had and still has more of a plan than Obama does. That is pretty sad. His name is not an issue.
