As the other fella has already stated: The race is pressed into the axle tube and is lubricated by the rear end lube, not grease. The axle will have to come out by releasing the lock collar inside the differential. If the complete bearing needs replacement a swivel flanged race removing slide hammer must be used. Replace the inner race with a brass plug that fits the race perfectly so no damage will be done as you tap it back into place.

nope. other answer is correct. wheel bearing is lighly press fitted in the axle tube, open to the internal cavity of the differential. its lubes by the gear lube. if you're concerned with the bearing making noise have it checked. if there is a grrove in the axle itself there are replacement "repair" bearings that move the location it rides on the axle and saves you from buying a new axle to fix it.
