I have a DSL connection and I would like to know if anybody can help me. I havee called my ISP and they have been no help so am asking for anybody help. Everytime someone calls my house phone my internet get temporaly disconnected and I have been having this probably for a week now. And yes I do have DSL filters on all of my phone jacks.

Assuming you now have an external modem and Windows, disable the modem inside your computer. Like this...

Control Panel/System/Hardware Tab then Click Device Manager.
Click the plus sign next to "modem"

Right click on your modem then select 'disable'.

See if that works.

maybe 1 of the DSL filters are bad. Unplug everything except your DSL modem and call your house number from a cell phone and see if it works (stays connected) if so start plugging stuff back in 11 by 1 testing each time until you find the problem. if unplugging everything except the modem doesn't work then call the phone company or the DSL provider and have them test the circuit

Disconnect one filter from a phone jaxck and leave it's phone disconnected. Try this for a while, get someone to phone it or call it from a mobile. If it still disconnects disconnect another and so on.If with all the filters out you still have a problem, swap one of the other filters for the one with the dsl connection. a faulty filter can easily cause this. When you find the faulty one replace it.
