I have seen vegetable trays but none that are very sandwich friendly (either a bad or poor mix of veggies or further chopping required) I find myself eating at subway regularly. If I can buy (most of the) veggies together bread and condiments are no big deal

In most supermarkets they do. It is packaged in a plastic bag.
Or ask who handles the vegetable department....speak with him, and ask him to make the vegetables they way you like.
They do that. And just call when you are ready again, and Wala.....you can pick them up.
Yes, it works....if you can not find one, call another.

Man how lazy can you get??
Even the people at subway chop their own vegetables. Do you know how much waste they would have per day?? Sliced tomatoes do not keep for very long, they would dry out.
Also cut vegetables exposed to air give up a lot of their vitamins over time. Imagine how long it takes from them to be presliced at the site then shipped to the market where they sit on a shelf waiting for you to buy them.
When all it takes is about 2 seconds for you to take a slice out of a fresh tomato.
I build subway type sandwiches at home all the time and it takes about 10 minutes. That includes getting everything from the fridge, cutting, slicing, assembling and putting everything away.

The tomatoes, onions and green peppers that Subway uses comes as a whole vegetable and then they slice them. The lettuce comes already shredded and you can buy that in any grocery store.

I have seen veggies (green, yellow, red peppers, onions, Jalapenos, Lettuce) cut up in little containers or bags; at any of the common Grocery Stores in the Produce Isle...
You can find the sliced pickles in a Jar.
Hope this helps somewhat :)
I have mine with no mayo... he he :)

The higher grade grocery stores do sell them pre sliced or diced in small containers. Either that or go to the deli and order a deili plate. All the fixings are done for you

Its much cheaper to buy the whole vegetables yourself, and chop them once you get home . Stores charge WAY too much for pre-cut veggies. Store them in ziploc containers in teh fridge- they should keep for about a week :) (Dont refrigerate the tomatos , though, ... they will lose their flavor)

Yes that's why he keeps having to get lipo. Quiznos=fattening. But let's not diss Jared. I love that little (or should I say big) fat homo. He is my favorite spokesman for a restaurant. Definatly beats the Burger King guy. And Ronald is getting old too.... I wonder if Jared has alot of loose skin.. Hmm...
