Mine have always been 110. You need a ground fault receptable, but beyond that, nothing fancy. It's when a heater is added that you end up with 220......that's our hottub.

It is most likely 120V. ("110")
The breaker serving it will tell you.
It should already be on a "GFI" breaker.
If not, either make the change at the panel, (best),
or at least be sure to use a GFCI receptacle for the addition.

If, by chance, it is a '220V`. line do not attempt to
connect the ground wire as a neutral
(as some fool is sure to advise).
This will trip any GFI protection you may have,
and is most unsafe in the vicinity of a pool.

No do not use this outlet to feed from. This circuit will have a double breaker with a "tie" bar. The circuit will typically be fused at near the present load. Bring another line in

if your breaker in the box is double pole, its 220. but surely its 110. the 1st one in the series should be a g.f.c.i outlet to cover the subsequent outlets

Most likely 110 v. Test it, light bulb test socket. One lead to white, one to ground. If the bulb lights its a 220 line. If not try across black and white, if lights and does not blow it's 110v.

Find out what the voltage is before proceeding. Why ask on here? What if you get a wrong answer as is very common on this board?
