What is the driving skill you find most lacking in other drivers (or find most difficult yourself)? I thought of this watching with amusement while a driver was trying to parallel park on my street.

I am annoyed and perplexed every time I am behind the wheel when I see another driver preparing to make a left turn where there is a center left turn lane. Apparently nobody knows the proper way to use the left turn lane because 9 out of 10 drivers do the same stupid thing which is wait until they are right at the place where they want to turn before getting in the proper lane and even then they only put the front left wheel in that lane as they continue to approach their turn. Am I the only driver that thinks the left turn lane is there to use when approaching my turning point? Shouldn't you get in the left turn lane COMPLETELY as you approach your intended turn so as not to hold up traffic in the thru lane? I am not talking about when approaching an intersection or a traffic light but just making a left turn into a business place etc. Remember to 'share the road' you don't own it so why hog it??

yes I love it when some one just stops in front of you with out using their turn signals and then they wonder why you are beeping your horn at them WTF? and then they try to park and they realize that their car is to big for the spot or they just don't have any judgment so they end up on a 90 degree angle trying to make the car go into the spot and then they try again and again and by this time their is a long line of cars with pissed off drivers beeping at the retard who cant park. Its funny as hell if you are walking down the street or watching from inside a building but it sucks when you know you could have maid the light but hay Wait this guy just stopped for no reason I wonder why? if only he would have used his turn signal I think all cars have signal indicators right?.

LOL. I live in Chicago. I will be in the right lane on a two lane highway and CONSTANTLY be passed on the RIGHT. It's unbelievable. The speed is marked 30 miles per hour. Everyone is usually going 35 or 40 and these people pass you going 60 on the right side with regularity. That's the parking lane I am talking about. It so out of control, it's sad. Thanks for letting me vent a little. lol

I think it is the simple lack of common courtesy that is the biggest problem with drivers. If you take into account how your actions affect others and decide if it is worth the possible confrontation, then do it. If you are not willing to deal with the outcome, then don't do it. Very simple.

LOL... the parallel parking outside of my office is a source of constant entertainment for us! I definately think that skill is most lacking.

people who multi. task when driving (read talk on cell eat change clothes have relations ect...) But most of all pple who drive under the speed limit then speed up when you attempt to pass them like its some kind of competition!

I hate when people get in front of me and then do 5 mph UNDER the speed limit.

I hate when people forget to turn off their 'turn signals' after switching lanes and leave them blinking for miles.

parallel parking seem to be the worst. people just don't bother to learn how big their car really is.

I'd like to see other people use their turn signals! Or maybe hang up the phone before they try to merge...
