Another 1 i like its from slipknot (not what i usually listen to but like this chorus)
F*ck it all,
F*uck this world,
F*ck everything that you stand,
Don't belong,
Don't exist,
Don't give a sh*t,
DON'T EVER JUDGE ME!!!

Iron Maiden songs tend to have awesome lyrics:
from Paschendale
"Laying low in a blood filled trench
Kill time 'til my very own death
On my face I can feel the falling rain
Never see my friends again

In the smoke, in the mud and lead
Smell the fear and the feeling of dread
Soon be time to go over the wall
Rapid fire and end of us all"
-about a young soldier's death

from Face In The Sand
"Everyone's searching, but nothing's revealing
Everyone's looking for the reason why
Everyone's hoping for life everafter
Everyone's looking at death from the sky"
-a song about 9/11

from The Clansman
"It is right to believe
In the need to be free
It's a time when you die
And without asking why...
.....Not alone with a dream
Just a want to be free
With a need to belong
I am a clansman...

Freedom"

this song is always awesome live, especially when you have 20,000 metal fans singing the chorus in unison and chanting "FREEDOM". It sends chills up the spine

The Doors: Not to touch the Earth:

From the LP "Waiting for the Sun".

Not to touch the earth
Not to see the sun
Nothing left to do, but
Run, run, run
Let's run
Let's run

House upon the hill
Moon is lying still
Shadows of the trees
Witnessing the wild breeze
C'mon baby run with me
Let's run

Run with me
Run with me
Run with me
Let's run

The mansion is warm, at the top of the hill
Rich are the rooms and the comforts there
Red are the arms of luxuriant chairs
And you won't know a thing till you get inside

Dead president's corpse in the driver's car
The engine runs on glue and tar
Come on along, not goin' very far
To the East to meet the Czar

Run with me
Run with me
Run with me
Let's run

Whoa!

Some outlaws lived by the side of a lake
The minister's daughter's in love with the snake
Who lives in a well by the side of the road
Wake up, girl, we're almost home

Ya, c'mon!

We should see the gates by mornin'
We should be inside the evenin'

Sun, sun, sun
Burn, burn, burn
Soon, soon, soon
Moon, moon, moon
I will get you
Soon!
Soon!
Soon!

I am the Lizard King
I can do anything

Well, I've always liked Tristania's Endogenisis:
I will find the truth within your skin
You keep feeding me distractions, feeding me lies
But I know the truth is there in fragments, in bits, and pieces

Tall and slender, but your eyes are lustreless
Your facade may glimmer, your surface may be smooth silk
You've been convinced of your own illusions
But your weary eyes unveil a sinner

Then the end part where it goes:

My dearest enslaved
Shackled locked up in my cage
My dearest enslaved
Fragile beauty depraved

I've always liked those lyrics from that song.

F is for Fighting
R is for red
Ancestors blood and the Battles they've shed
E we eject them
E we elect them
In the land of the free and the home of the brave
D for your dying
O your overture
M is for money and all that it cures
That spells out freedom
It's nothing to me
As long as there's the PMRC

Sorry it's long.

The song is "Hook in Mouth" by Megadeth.

Godsmack's I Stand Alone: ''You're always hiding behind your so called Goddess. So what? You don't think that we can see your face.''

Metallica's Enter Sandman: ''Sleep with one eye open...griping your pillow tight.''

Fuel's Hemorrhage: ''Memories are just where you layed them.

Lynyrd Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama: ''Well I heard Mister Young sing about her.(Southern Man) Well I heard Ol' Neil put her down. Well I hope Neil Young will remember...a Southern Man don't need him around anyhow!''

There's a cockroach in my coffee, there's a needle in my arm, and I feel like New York City, get me to the farm.

From Aerosmith's "The Farm"

Don't know why I like it, but its damn catchy.

In terms of good lyricists my favourites are John Lennon, Roger Waters, Steven tyler, and Alice Cooper. I think.

Mine happens to come from Goatwhore's "Alchemy of the Black Sun Cult"

"This desire in murdering the Slaves of Christ
Sound the horns to winter's plague
Storm of one hundred years
To be forged by tidal waves."

I am a Christian btw, and even I can appreciate the line

Face up, make your stand
And realize you're living in the golden years
