GENTLY pry the key off the keyboard (use a butter knife) and use a cotton swab with some denatured alcohol to clean under the key.
In the future, don't eat or drink at the computer or get a keyboard skin.

Everyone has been assuming that this is a desktop keyboard, but since you posted in laptops and notebooks I have to assume that you are talking about a laptop.
First it is not easy to fix fast.
Remove the keyboard, depending on what kind of laptop you have it may be just a matter of prying off some caps and removing some screws or it can be more difficult. When you lift it there will be a short cable connecting it to the laptop.
You might go to the manufactuers web site and see if they have directions on how to do this.
Then when it is completely free from the system take it to the sink and gently run water over it and rinse it clean. Now I suggest pouring alcohol over it or if you have a large baking dish put the keyboard in it and pour the alcohol over it. Denatured alcohol is best but regular rubbing alcohol will work too.
Now here is the hardest part, put it on a towel and pat it dry, then if you have a small fan let it blow over the keyboard for 8-12 hours to be sure that it is dry, move it around so the air gets to it and dries the alcohol.
While you are waiting you can consider sacrificing a few malted barley beverages to the computer gods, then after a nights sleep re-assemble and test.
I helped use this technique many years ago when a mainframe system was flooded and was sitting in mud for a week. It worked pretty good, we had less than 10% failure on the boards that we cleaned and reinstalled.
Oh, if you have a spare desktop keyboard you can usually plug it into your laptop if it has a usb port of like mine has a combination mouse/keyboard connector.
Good Luck

Hi. Most keys can be removed by gently prying them off. A stuck key may just need to be cleaned on the sliding surfaces.

i know this sounds weird and dangerous but putting your keyboard into a dish washing machine upside down and letting it go through a cycle (not the plate warming cycle) will clean a keyboard nicely. you must let it dry completely before you plug it back in but it will not damage your keyboard

Unplug it from your computer and place it in the dish washer. Let it completely dry before plugging it back into your computer or it can cause damage.
Or you could go get another keyboard.
