you have my heart
And we'll never be worlds apart
May be in magazines
But you'll still be my star
Baby cause in the dark
You can't see shiny cars
And that's when you need me there
With you I'll always share
Because
[Chorus]
When the sun shines, we’ll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be a friend
Took an oath I'ma stick it out till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we'll still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella
You can stand under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Under my umbrella
(Ella ella eh eh eh eh eh eh)

These fancy things, will never come in between
You're part of my entity, here for Infinity
When the war has took it's part
When the world has dealt it's cards
If the hand is hard, together we'll mend your heart

Come into me
There's no distance in between our love
So go on and let the rain pour
I'll be all you need and more

it's saying that one will be there for the other no matter what. you can pretty much figure out what it means if you just read it :)
"you can run into my arms.." "you can stand under my umbrella"
sure.. it's a good wedding song.. the slow version's more romantic mandy did a good job with it.

I have been told its about doin the nasty! umbrella meaning rubber. I don't have an honest source but this is what I was told so Idk if you want to have a song about that then whatever floats your boat.
I reiterate I could be wrong it was very nice how Mandy moore did it.. I actually like that version over the original version.

I would never imagine "Umbrella" as a wedding song. Maybe Mandy's version, but I'm not sure.

But if you like it, then go for it.

I think this acutally would be perfect for a wedding song! if people never heard Rihanna's version they woudln't think twice about it. it hink it's such a uniuqe song.. Took an oath that i'll stick it out to the end. i mean it's PERFECT!!!

As long as the bride and groom agrees upon it. It's your wedding, your big day.

But as of my opinion, it's not really something I would want to dance to.
