What origin (ex. Swiss, Spanish, Scottis, ect) does this last name sound like? "Pendarvis" (originally it was Pendarves before it was Americanized.) Don't look it up on the web. I just want to see how many people can get it right.

sounds like a mediteranean name....and greek surnames always have an "s" on the end.....so, ill go with greek, althought the original spelling looks more spanish.

It's sort of like a Celtic name. Ever heard of King Arthur of Pendragon? A great king of Great Britain.
