Geographically it would have to be the Oakland Athletics or Anaheim Angels. He lives in Beverly Hills, so purchasing a home in NY would be out of the question. Now, which team would be able to afford such a salary?

Barry Bonds can't be in the Yankees. First, he is way to old and the Yankees have enough veterans. Second, a lot of controvesy is surrounding him about him using performance enhancing drugs or not. Third, Barry's career is almost over and he said that he wants to end it as a Giant. But, A-Rod and Bonds are close friends and watching Damon go to the Yanks, anything is possible!!!

It's a good possibility that Barry might land up in Oakland.
He'll be the DH, and he'll be just across the Bay from Frisco...

Lol, No don't think so, Barry like to be the center of attention, to many superstars in the Yankee rotation for him to stand out. Plus his '07 stats are not that great.

If he does and Yankees fans cheer for him, then Yankees fans will lose all remaining respect I have for them.
If they boo his bum azz in New York, then they will gain some respect.
--Barry on the Yankees would be a blight on that organization and its proud history. If the Yankees put that piece of crap on their team, then I no longer want to hear about 27 World Series, Babe Ruth, etc... It is all then negated because they are supporting openly one of the men who would see baseball destroyed for their personal profit.

I can see him playing somwhere on the West Coast, like Oakland or Anaheim. The Yankees seem like a stretch, but who knows what they'll do with all the cash they'll free up when A-Rod opts out of his contract.

No. I think he'll stay on the west coast. He'll stay as close to the bay area as possible because nobody else outside of there can stand him. Owners don't want to alienate fans by signing such a polarizing guy that is going to cost that much money.;

No - either a west coast team (esp. Angels or Athletics) or Red Sox. He will consider the Yanks cause he will want to finish with a team that has a good chance of being in playoffs next year.

No. He will sign with the Giants one more year for $10 million. That is the rumor in the hood.
