ok i'm just a 13 year old girl that iz trying to be a singer, and got nobody to help. i don't have any1 to help me fix my song or tell me when i should fixe some parts of my songs or anything. that it coould be easy for me to find some1. but i don't know if i'm gonna find any recording studio around staten-island, queens, or brooklyn/ if they are going to exept me. so if any of you got an idea please tell me. and if ever ya'll know a website that i could record my own song it would be good to.

join the choir at church or school. practice, practice your craft. sing every opportunity you get. do cover songs at first and work on your own stuff in private until you feel it is perfect. listen to other singers and practice different styles never forgetting to nourish your own personal style. watch how good singers use their bodies to add emotion to their singing. stand in front of a mirror and practice some more. have confidence in your talent but remember every talent needs a lot of hard work behind it one way or another .... it doesn't just fall into place that easily. meanwhile, work hard at school and decide to do a great job at anything put before you. that will prepare you to know how to work hard and suceed at your craft. the will to succeed comes from the preparation.

One thing to remember is to not get your hopes up too high. There are many many people with talent that are overlooked everyday. You have to be marketable first, and the second you have to really hustle and get your name out in the public eye, talent shows, or anywhere that the public will be exposed to your talent. third it would help as mentioned to know someone that knows someone that knows someone that is in the music/talent field. It might be that you could go to certain schools (theatre/dance schools that could help you do all of this) good luck

don't you think you're a tad young to be worrying about being a star already? i know there are many young teens that are already singers.. but
well
a. i would say to take it slow.. (like john legend's song "take it slow oh oh oh.. sorry.. that's stuck in my head ;O)
b. you can always like go out for talent shows um.. try to put yourself out there. or.. myspace?
c. and i guess many stars had connections so.. do you have a brother who has a friend whose dad's sister's husband is a record producer? ^^;;
i know that wasn't much help but good luck on being a star!
