In the wise words of NFL Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy, "I try to get across to our players that a lot of people will admire you for how you play, but in the long run, it is more important to have them admire you for how you live."

Nope.
Barry is NOT on trial for USING steroids... PLEASE remember that at the TIME it WAS LEGAL !! The steriods he may or may NOT have taken were LEGAL in the USA, not banned in MLB, just banned in the NFL, but legally available.
Barry is being investigated (not charged, not on trial, and NOT convicted) for a charge of Perjury to the Grand Jury (listen up Clintonians). Whether or not he was aware of his own use... ALL information his OWN tests have NEVER shown positive.
Mr VICK was CHARGED with a crime... that had been illegal since 1892. It was ON the books, it was the LAW. He was charged, and SWORE he was not guilty... but as SOON as his buddies told the truth, he decided to plead GUILTY himself.
Barry's record is APART from dog-fighing coons

Bonds got a great big old cheer when he broke the record. He'll go on with his career. What does he care what people think as long as they buy tickets to the game and he gets paid his ridiculous salary?

Barry Bonds is the man. Juice or no juice, you still have to be able to hit to get that many damn homers. I hate the giants, but a good hitter is a good hitter. Barry isn't the only dude to use enhancements-- Lance armstrong, landis, palmaro, clemons, ben johnson, the chargers dude, so many. Who cares. Cheating has been around since sports started. So give it a rest. No record is truly untainted.

I never really followed the story but if tested positive for steroids, I don't think he deserves any records. It's just not right...

They don't even play the same sport. Diehard baseball fans probably don't care too much about the NFL.

They are both criminals of different sorts and should be banned from their respective sports as well as jailed.
Maybe they can send each other cards from jail!
Personally, I'm tired of hearing about either of them.
