In my view it's not a question of anything being wrong with the Green Party- or any other third party for that matter. The real problem is that lots of people- regardless of their political views- seem to be under the impression that they owe allegiance to one of the "big two". Until and unless such people change their minds and come to the conclusion that there's no such thing as a political party that's owed anything, the aforementioned two parties will take turns selling us out. After all, it would be naive at best to think that the lobbyists and corporate donors aren't expecting anything in return for all of that funding.

Ok, seriously were did you get the number 83% of the U.S. agrees with the Green party platform? It would have to come from the Greens website, talk about bad polling....

the democrats and republicans will work together on both sides of the aisle, and do their level best to stop a viable Independent Party from happening, because it threatens their grip on power.

Yeah, I'd call that a crisis.

They need some serious campaign cash to mount a good run for office. Rich Whitney during the Illinois race for governor got 350,000 votes. It was almost 15%. He didn't have that much money to mount a serious campaign.

If they get their way we will all be in the dark. they do not want us to drill for oil, do not want nuke power, they do want a wind mill in every yard (like that will get us far)

And the biggest peeve for me is they bad mouth SUV's But did they ever think that some people need them ???? Like disabled people???? I bet not. They should build a raft and set themselves afloat and live on an island.
