King George thinks he controls all three branches of government and Vice President Cheney does not think he falls under any of the three branches of government.
Both Bush and Cheney feel that they are above the law.
Fortunately, these idiots will be out of office soon.

After Obi-Wan Kenobi discovers a secret battle droid factory on the Separatist planet Geonosis, Palpatine uses the situation to have himself granted emergency powers. Palpatine feigns reluctance in taking this decidedly undemocratic course of action, and promises to return his powers once the Clone Wars have ended. His first act is to create a Grand Army of the Republic to counter the Separatist threat. At the same time, he recommends that Padmé Amidala, now a senator, be placed under the protection of Obi-Wan and his padawan Anakin (Hayden Christensen) following a "failed" assassination attempt. Because of Dooku's escape planned ahead by Palpatine, it would later fuel Anakin's rage toward Dooku and eventually the Jedi Order, on whom he places blame for most of the successful escapes by former dark-apprentices. Anakin and Padmé eventually fall in love, though the reason is never given on screen, and marry at the end of the film

No. He heads the Executive branch. The Legislative branch is Congress. The Judiciary is the Surpreme Court and lower courts. The three branches serve as checks and balances on each other.

No he does not and no president has ever controlled all three branches, even when politically there are parties in charge of all the branches in our history through executive/legislative elections and judicial appointments.

Technically, no. But the elected Democrats in the majority have done very little to hurt him so far. They have done a good job embarrassing themselves thinking they would be able to reveal his lies. But you have to do wrong before you can get caught. If they keep going in their fruitless investigating they will be thrown out of office just like the Republicans were. They are there to legislate, not check Bush.

LMAO... nigelshiftright's comments are some of the funniest I've ever seen on this site. Bush has beaten the dems repeatedly throughout his administration. Also Rove helped Bush get elected twice. Oh and by the way Bush's supreme court justices are perfect for the job since they judge by our Constitution and not their own beliefs. We don't need judges instituting policy. You need to get out of DC buddy it's warping your brain...

Actually George Bush has proven to be one of the weakest US presidents ever. He really can't get anything done or finished or pushed through. His only veto has been on stem cell research....wow.....let's not cure sick people and offend a Christian right-winger.
Part of his weakness came from too much reliance on another grievously flawed man, Karl Rove, who as it turns out had a very deluded view of American politics and how it was going to turn out.
So Rove pretty much bushwhacked Bush, who of course can hardly dress himself much less think of anything to do.
The buzz in DC is that Bush Sr. #41 is quite pained to see his son botch the presidency so badly.
Oh, wait a minute...Bush did manage to screw up the Supreme Court with highly politicized incompetents, but that can be fixed because there is no constitutional prohibition on increasing the number of judges.

No he does not. Though he is certainly doing his best to thumb his nose at the power of the other two branches of government.
