I think that a bearded dragon is better than an iguana for a few reasons. First, bearded dragons are a LOT easier to care for than an iguana. Iguanas get HUGE and tend to outgrow EVERYTHING that you buy for them, so you will constantly be spending money on new supplies, cages, etc. for your iguana, whereas with a beardie, you can put him in a 55 gallon tank, or larger, and he can live comfortably for the rest of his life...
Also, iguanas just seem to have an aggressive side to them, whereas beardies are real gentle and have some of the greatest personalities. Granted, not all iguanas can be aggressive, but I've had a few, and every single one of them would get mad and swat at me with their tale... I've never really had a beardie try and do something like that to me, though. When beardies are aggravated, they simply puff up their beard and their body and it turns black... I've reached in and grabbed my beardie while she was doing this and she quit doing it because she knew that she wasn't going to win... They mainly seem to do it to say "leave me alone" but they don't seem to have any aggression.
Hope that helps!

Well, I am a bearded dragon owner and have never had an iguana but I've handled them many times and out of the two I say beardies are the best. Bearded dragons are so expressive and have such personalities. My beardie loves it when I bath him and will walk on a leash. Bearded dragons are really easy going while iguanas I've dealt with can be testier.

Iguana's are extra powerful for progressed reptile vendors. Bearded dragons are are very solid pets; they have solid personalities, and are particularly undemanding to shield. i individually am going to get a beardy quickly.

bearded dragons are way better. i have never owned an iguana but i do have 2 bearded dragons and they are neat. they have sweet personalities and iguanas have very aggressive personalities. the older iguanas get the meaner they are.

iguanas are harder to take care of and live longer, they eat mice and when they grow up they may bite alot. but they make great pets if they learn not to bite.bearded dragons are also great but live less and grow smaller then the iguana but they usaully dont bite and eat meal worms or crickets but feed them crickets be cause i fed mine meal worms and he didnt like them and after a while the turn into cocaroaches.their both great pets so try to use this info to decide.good luck!

definitely a bearded dragon. These reptiles are so sweet (can a reptile be called sweet?) They are not near as big and they are easy to care for. Even young kids can take care of them easily.

Beardies are sweet and easier to care for. Igs grow up to 6 feet and need very large enclosures. It would be best for you to read over these websites and decide for yourself what you can handle financially and time-wise.

Your choice, some details:
-Iguanas need big cages and sometimes get very annoying.
-Bearded Dragons are small at first and they get really, really big. (About the size of an oven.)
