My Girlfriend is experiencing lower back pain with numbness and tingling starting at the small of her back and spreading down the buttocks to the back of the thighs and sometimes to the calves it happens everyday with some worse than others and there is also a lump on her back where the pain usually radiates from. With two visits to the doctors their only response is to put a hot compress on it and basically walk it off, but the pain has been constant for about 9 months now and they don't seem to find it a big deal. With this hospitals track record of mis diagnosis and overall disregard of their patients concerns i believe they are over looking the fact that this may be sciatica. On a Side note she also fell down the stairs chipping her coccyx for the 2nd time in three years about a year ago. So my question is are there any basis in my fears or do we not worry about it like the doctors say?

If her pain is progressive, she might deal with a tumor compressing her sensory nerves. Plain X-ray, might show something wrong there. If X-ray does not show anything, she might need a MRI

I've been battling sciatica for close to a decade, after a minor car accident, and I had tried everything the doc threw at mepills, injections, special mattresses This guide was extremely eye opening and within one week of the regimen you gave me I can barely feel any discomfort. You have no idea how much of a relief it is to be finally getting rid of a pain I've had to bear for so many years.

I think you need to see a chiropractor for this condition. This Has been going on far too long and a doctor of chiropractic medicine can help reduce the pain and sometimes even stop it permanently. I think the doctors you have seen have not put any concern into what is going on for your Girl friend.

I'm enclosing a link where you can find a qualified chiropractor in your area.
