A-Rod. Definitely a Hall OF Famer. If he keeps it up, he will surpass current Steroid King Barry Bonds in most Home runs. He is young and talented. Just hate that he plays for the Yankees, can't stand them.

If you leave out steroids, Bonds is probably a bit better than Aaron. But I don't see how you can leave it out. So we would have to take the pre-steroids Bonds and Sosa.
A-rod has a good chance of having an even better career than Aaron, but for now, I would rank them as Aaron, Rodriguez, Bonds, Jeter, and Sosa. (Sammy really wasn't much before his likely steroids use began.)
Check the year by year numbers and the totals and see how Aaron was a model of consistent excellent. It doesn't hurt to remember that Aaron played much of his career in what is sometimes called "Deadball II," since pitchers were given a lot of advantages through much of his career.

Hank Aaron was totally clutch, solid in the field, fast and a great arm.
Derek Jeter is a solid hitter and fielder and is frighteningly clutch.
A-Rod has great numbers but is only middling on the clutch list.
S*mmy and B*rry. Nuff said.

Derek Jeter. His stats are very good. Not as good as some others but he is the best player on your list. A proven winner, a team-first player in a team sport, the heart of a champion and the consummate professional. He's the total package.

Barry Bonds-Steriods
Hank Aaron-took very long to hit 752 hrs
arod-youngest to hit 500hrs
sammy sosa-crocked his bats
derek jeter-a great shortstop that hardly ever makes an out with people on base.
I would say Arod and Derek Jeter.

I have to go with Derek Jeter just beating out Hank Arron. Derek is best overall considering defense and offense.

HANK AARON, a true baseball player. No batting gloves, armour or anything really, just a bat.
