Edward Scissorhands . . . one of the most beautiful films ever. Very metaphorical, too. The meaning of the story was that Edward could not get close to anyone without hurting them, but one girl saw through that and loved him despite his flaws. Very good story.

Well if you count "Cruel Intentions" as a film about love.
But my favorite film regardless of genre is "Stand by Me." I don't know I just thought I'd say that. I love that movie.
