Fly Maggots eat Only, dead flesh, so they keep the globe free of rotting animal carcasses, They are also used medically to treat Necrotising Faciitis, (The flesh eating bug) and gangrene, as they only eat the dead flesh, thry do not eat anything with blood flow, they can keep wounds very clean, and can actually help prevent infection.

If you make a transporter and one gets stuck in there with you it can mess with your DNA. Just watch the "The Fly" or "The Fly II" and you will see. Those were some great documentaries!
