What city is the Las Vegas Strip in? Please post a link to the answer. I think I know the answer, but I'm looking for proof.

Most of the Strip (everything south of Sahara Ave) is located in unincorporated Clark County, Nevada...so that means its not located in any city.
For proof, go to http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/stories/archives/2003/jul/18/515360220.html and scroll down until you finds "Because all of the Strip hotels south of Sahara Avenue are outside Las Vegas city limits, the county enjoys a lucrative property tax base that the city cannot match."

The Strip is in Winchester and Paradise Nevada. From Sahara Avenue to Desert Inn road, it's Winchester. From Desert Inn Road to Warm Springs Road it's Paradise, Nevada. Since there is only one major resort south of there (the South Coast in Enterprise, Nevada), the two townships I mentioned contain all of the Strip properties known to most folks. There is no Las Vegas Strip! It's like saying "dry rain".

hmmm i don't know ummm LAS VEGAS its in the middle of vegas how can you not know. proof well go on las vegas.com no space, or go to vegas your self, the vegas strip is where they have all the new and better hotels ones you might have heard of bellagio, MGM mirage, and other hotels. i can't believe you don't know, have you ever been to vegas??
