This is my third child My 2 daughters moved alot when i was 15 weeks to this point. I have an appointment on the 28th so I hope it is fine. when I had my first ultrasound @11 weeks it was already 2 oz. which the doctor said was a big one. So could this be my boy.

My midwife told me not to start counting fetal movements until after your 28th week, thats when your baby is really going to start being active. After that you should have up to ten fetal movements in an hour. Until then I wouldn't worry to much, your baby is still growing and it will get ready to boogie soon enough. For now just enjoy the sleep that you are getting because when your baby starts moving - it don't stop! Enjoy & Good Luck!

I wouldn't worry just yet. Some babies are just Lazy (for a lack of a better word). Also, if they are suggesting that your baby could be bigger than average, maybe he/she just doesn't have a lot of room to move around.

If your concerned you should definately talk to your doctor and maybe they will do an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok in there.

good luck!

this early on in your pregnancy the baby is still small and has alot of room to move. but
once you get to be around 23-24 weeks you should feel 4 movements every hr. if you dont then you should drink some OJ or eat a cookie and lay on your left side. the sugar should make the baby move. if you dont count 4 movements in that hr call your dr asap. dont wait hours/days w/o any fetal movement before you call

I am one week ahead of ya, and last week I was wondering the same thing too. It's normal. Remember your baby is anywhere from 8-10 inches long (give or take a few since everyone is different) so the baby isn't too big to where we can always feel every move yet. OR maybe your baby just sleeps alot. Congrats

i souldnt think theres a problem but if you worried your best to go and get checked over, at this stage the baby has some room to move about so you dont feel it so much give it another 5 weeks or so and youll feel like youve got no rib cage left with all the kicking!! lol

and remember when your awake the baby is usually sleeping so the baby is probably more active when your asleep!

hope this helps and congratulations!

no there isnt anything wrong, ur baby still has a little space in your tummy to move so u wont feel every movement so once ur baby starts to get a lil bigger or you're more than 20 weeks or more u will feel ur baby move more i know how you feel because i was the same way and now I am 21 weeks and i feel my baby move more and more. So dont worry.

Baby is still very small, he/she is moving all the time, u just cant always feel it. If ur worried, however, dont hesitate to call ur doctor or make an appt. At least ur mind will be put at ease when u hear baby's heartbeat, or see an ultrasound picture.

I really wouldnt worry right now tho.

No, you'll feel the movements more when you get farther along. Most people start to feel their baby move between 20-22 wks. So you'll probably start to feel more movement in a few wks. Plus, they don't move non-stop all day. You'll just feel movement on and off a few times or so a day.

I didn't really feel my baby move much until I was 21 weeks. Before then, I'd feel a little flutter every once in a while, but no movements until 21 weeks.

Usually you feel movement around 23 weeks. I did not feel my twins moving actively until about 25 weeks along.
