He IS my favorite on that show. I'm sorry he should not have gone home! Brian didn't cook ANYTHING nor gave any ideas for the different dishes. Casey and CJ brought only one dish each to the table which left Tre with making 6! Executive chef or not, Tre should not have had to take on such a role. He IS a great chef and should be staying!!! CJ pretty much admitted that he didn't like any of the dishes and, even though I like him, it seemed like he should have been the one to go. I don't think Casey is blameless either, what did she do in this episode? Again, prepare one dish. They all seemed like dead weight to me. I mean why last week was it the focus on the terrible GMs when they didn't do that much better this week, and they were given someone to help them with the image, feel, etc. of the restaurant. I feel sorry for Tre, having to make the most out of the passivity of his team who, it seemed to me, only wanted to save their own butts and didn't mind Tre being the one to leave.
I was really upset to see Tre go. He was the only chef to win 3 challenges with two of them back to back. I think I was more upset about his leaving than Sam leaving last season. Good luck Tre!!!!

Like others I'm sick Tre is gone and will continue to watch the show, but don't know who I'll be rooting for. You would think the judges would take past performances partly into consideration when a whole team loses and everyone made mistakes. Jeez, Casey couldn't even chop onions. I really am floored she's still there and Tre is gone.
A bit of trivia. Did you know that Casey is executive chef at a restaurant that is co-owned by the wife of the owner of Tre's restaurant? Did that make sense? What's amazing is her restaurant is also highly rated. Maybe they just lose it sometimes on this show.
I thought I would post a link to the restaurant where Tre works. I see he was nominated in 2005 & 2006 for the James Beard - Rising Star Chef Award. I'm sure they know more than half the judges.

I know , I was like what the what Tre eliminated !! You gotta be f*cking kidding me !!
And the more I think about it I have got to wonder if Casey and CJ didn't double team him . They each made crappy dishes and they didn't help in the kitchen.
Hung who everyone hates was constantly running up to Sara asking " What do you need Chef ? Is there anything I can do for you ? " She even commented on it.
Say what you will about Hung he wasn't just looking out for number 1 . He was looking out for his team. Something completely lacking on the other team. Does anyone else but me think Tre may of been set up ?
CJ was my other favorite but he put Tre in charge of the kitchen knowing he would have to take responsibility for the team and then CJ and Casey proceed to make crappy dishes. Both of them ??? And Tre cooks everything else on the menu. Something just doesn't feel right about that at all to me.
And Brian was completely MIA . He didn't even cook. Whereas Dale the Host on the other team was responsible for a dish .
The more I think about it I really feel Tre's team knew he was the front runner and knocked him out of the race.

I couldn't believe they kicked off Tre. Casey (who is horrible and hasn't really contributed anything but problems) was standing right there with that group. If anyone should have been sent packing it was her.
I am awaiting the day that they send Casey packing and the day that they send Sara packing.

Like one responder already wrote, in the spirit of the Holiday Season AND because all the chefs pitched in to back their teammates when they needed their help Tom basically gave them all a pass. So, nobody was eliminated. I just find it interested that all the chefs were like kissing that jail bird Martha Stewart's butt like she's the be all and end all of the culinary profession.

Yeah, me! I thought he'd end up winning the whole enchilada! He was competitive without being an @sshole. He was an excellent executive chef! He was a good leader and team player. All his team-mates respected him for his cooking skills! Who would have thought he'd leave this week?
