Hmmm- lots of potential here.
You could go as storybook characters- 7 dwarfs maybe?
Alice in Wonderland has a lot of wonderful characters.
Harry Potter and the crew come to mind.
You can also go as politicians- those running for office.
If you want to be creative, you can go as board games and pieces.
Maybe even go as Halloween candy pieces! Someone can be a Reese's Cup, someone can be The Three Musketeers!

You all could also be the cast of the Wizard of Oz. We did that, and included a flying monkey. The flying monkey was the hit.
