I have a few questions

1. Are you for/against the war?
2. Were you for/against the war?
3. What, if any news, do you watch? This includes the Nightly News from CBS, NBC, ABC, and cable news. This also includes newspapers.

Please be as specific as possible as to where you get your information on the war from.

Well I am for preventing terrorists from attacking us on US soil so I guess you could say I am for the war.

I have held this opinion since the morning of 9/11.

I try very hard to not watch the left biased, pro-terrorist networks of ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC at all, ever.

The majority of information I get on Iraq and Afghanistan comes from people who are there, not the ones who work for AP and Reuters who just plain make up lies, but the soldiers and contractors who are actually involved daily in prosecuting these battles against the islamofascists.

AP and Reuters supply most of the stuff to the networks and newspapers, and both are completely discredited as reputable sources on this issue, they have been caught multiple times clearly just making up stuff, not unlike the Baghdad Diarist at the New Republic, just plain lies.

Put it this way, Liberals tend to think of society as ideal and push to do the things that would make society "perfect". They want everyone to make the same amount of money, no one to be impoverished, and there be universal healthcare. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. That's an IDEAL society. Generally, Conservatives tend to think of things a little more realistically, but do often go about asserting ideas the wrong way. The whole gay marriage thing though isn't even up to the federal government to decide so it's pointless for them to argue about it. It's not outlined in any part of the constitution for congress, the president, or the supreme court to make any decision. Just like abortion shouldn't have been left to the federal government and should have been left out, but those are just examples. Conservatism is more of a you do your part, I do mine. We leave each other alone mindset. Liberalism is a let's help each other and everything is okay mindset. Typically. Regardless, think, don't just join sides. It's easy to tell where I lie, but like I said, sides don't matter. Vote on issues, not people.

1. much more against the "way the war has been waged" than against "the war"...

2. I thought it was a little early to go after Saddam, when we haven't even caught Osama... but Saddam is a horrible dictator... so, not so much against the idea of the war, but I was against the timing of it...

3. a lot of AP stories (both internet and newspaper, usually local paper)... headline news... a bit of CNN, MSNBC and Fox here and there... usually doing other things during "nightly news"

1. I'm against the war in Iraq, but for the war in Afghanistan (and, if necessary to route Al Qaeda, in Pakistan--but only after exhausting all diplomatic efforts).
2. I've never been for the war in Iraq, because Iraq never attacked us. I was wary of the war in Afghanistan, because it seemed like such a kneejerk reaction--someone hurt us, let's start bombing people! But I've come to believe in the progress being made in Afghanistan.
3. I listen to NPR on my way to and from school. I click links from AOL to sites like NYT, CNN, etc. I watch the Daily Show and, sometimes, Countdown with Keith Olbermann.
