Q for you--

Any predictions as to which band will be The new "IT" band that Every teenybopper will rave about? Several months back all I saw were P!AT (damn) Disco posts. Those died off, thankfully- along w/ all the Red Jumpsuit...questions.

Now it's Fall out boy & MCR left & right literally everyday, but I'm noticing a slight slow down...

I'm thinking it'll be Paramore next.

Geez...

You kids are Sooo fickle...

Stop wheezing & slap on some Zeppelin!

haha! Fonzie T - Zeppelin will never go out of style as long as we draw breath, but the kids will keep on moving on
hey, I gotta say I earned a lot of points on that song "Face Down" and also "Beautiful Girls" (Sean Kingston) when there were no other interesting questions to answer on here
I've seen a lot of Plain White T's questions lately - Paramore is a good guess
my prediction is Boys Like Girls (my teen daughter being my Magic 8 Ball on this issue) - they were on the Warped Tour this summer & my daughter says her favorite radio station is playing them now
sorry, is that cheating?
my girl used to listen to all my good music when she was little but now it is old people's music to her - blasphemy!
Take care,
Jaci

The children take short attention span theater to an art form. What really sucks is that radio feeds into this too. And it's not just with the gay emo bands but also with bands you would want to hear more of. Why does Nada Surf score a major hit in 1996 but can't get airplay today? They are still a good group, what did they do wrong to get banished to college radio?

Paramore is definitely that IT band of the moment. Who comes next? Only the children know.

I'm pretty much leaning towards Paramore and The White Stripes. (The White Stripes! I know! Where did that come from?) I think Icky Thump will trun out to be a bigger hit than expected. Good Charlotte may have a chance too, with Dance Floor Anthem. I look for FallOutBoy and My Chemical Romance to fizzle out in the next week or two.

I'm also getting the paramore vibe...
Personally, I have kept my eye on a band call bedlight for blue eyes. (one of the power pop bands, yes!) They're amazing... the songs really deserve radio plays.
Also like between the trees...
A few hard rock groups out there seem to be on the rise again... keep a look out for them!!!

Also... The 1990's ... the band... has a single out that could get hot. I have always loved Boys like girls, and i think they're on the rise too. The great escape is climbing the charts like crazy. I say heels over head or dance hall drug... mark my words, they will make it.

Paramore is definately the "it" band of the moment, especially with their recent MTV Artist Of The Week appearances.

as someone who listens to tons of pop-punk bands, i think All Time Low may very well be the next breakout success. since their EP on Hopeless Records last summer they've become one of the bigger bands in the underground, and they have a full-length coming out soon. plus they are 19 and good looking, which always helps.

I agree with the Paramore prediction, after that it'll probably be H.I.M.
All we need to do to figure it out is watch MTV for 10 minutes and the band with the prettiest male lead singer will be the next flavor of the month. Sadly that's just how it goes.

I realized recently that I wasn't listening to nearly anything being played on the radio, and that I was listening to more and more indie music, as well as anything just about pre-1997. I thought, "Man, I'm getting old".

Then, I listened to some Fall Out Boy and MCR music, and realized that if this is the new sound, I'm missing nothing by sticking with the old.

Paramore is definitely coming up as an "it" band. I have several other guesses as well...
The Almost
The Academy is....
Brand New
Aiden has a new album so they will probably be pretty "in" for a while.

Those are just my guesses.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it will be Paramore, as much as I despise that band.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed an upswing in questions regarding Tokio Hotel and Evanescense too?

I'm scared about what will be next, that's all I'm saying, it just keeps getting worse and worse......

I acually haven't noticed the slowdown of MCR questions but I haven't been on as long I usually have recently (summer was killer, SAT prep, college now and work.... and senior years coming up... man, I'm not gonna be on Y!A alot...)
