you can still gain experience by working on it at school! Its very simple... just join the drama club or take the class your school offers and participate in the school plays and talent shows. even though you don't have many resources don't let that hold you down. many people can't afford to do it you're not alone. Ask the drama teacher for what more you can do. Then when you go on into college you can participate with that school's theatre dept. you could even get a scholar ship. Your name will be put in the Thesbian society (actors not lesbians) if you participate with your high school. have fun and best of luck.

One thing that is for certain in an acting career is adversity. So first, stop saying "I can't"- because plenty of people will do that for you. You need the mind set of nothing is impossible. First, there IS a community theatre some where near you, unless you live in the Alaskan tundra. Find a way to get involved there- if it means a bus or a lift from a friend, so be it.
Second, taking drama at school is the first and best way to get into acting. So good for you for doing it. Do your best to get involved in all aspects of the department- from stage managing to performing so you begin to understand the ins and outs and hard work that goes into a show. Read read READ everything you can get your hands on related to theatre, from acting 'how tos' to biographys of people who inspire you.
You don't need an agent- you have never worked and so have no training and don't need one yet. It's the same thing as going to an office with no typing skills. Work on using what you DO have to the best of your ability and go from there.
Also, be careful of scams- anyone who promises that "they know the way" is likely full of b***s***. Don't give anyone any money for anything just yet- there is plenty you can do that is free at your early stage of performing.
I wish you the best of luck and remember, where there is a will, there is a way.

Start reading plays aloud in privacy and acting out the parts.. really try to become the characters.. Acting is not as easy as it looks. Take drama classes at night school.

well if your old enough find a job?
my mom took up a second job to pay off my cell phone bill and get me tuition money for homeschooling but i really wish half of it went to my acting.

i took classes and landed a movie thanks to my agent.

take a chance there might not be an agent in your town or your area so take a city bus or something if you dont have a car.

call a taxi look it up online like google.

agents in then type what state you live in find it call them call a taxi get there if they want money for classes tellt hem you will pay them one peice at a time because you dont have the money right now so once u get money from your job everyweek give it to them then when its payed off take your classes and then they book you for free and yyou can redo your acting classes for free.

if you dont have a car to get to where you need to be again call a taxi :]
earn the cash save it and book as many movies or shows you can and it will fall into place.
to reach your dreams you have to take a chance.

good luck :]

An important step to becoming an actress is first being a waitress. This is how any actor or actress worth their salt started out, by waiting tables. So go get your self a job at a resturaunt.

that's a hard one try doing plays with you're school and talk to the teacher about performing arts scholarship and try you're hand in Broadway they usually hold auditions and with the money you earned at that you can prob afford agent and with all that experience you will have it in the bag but you have to be serious and focused cause performing arts scholarships are pretty hard to get
