Prices always go up. That's life.
However I didn't even realize that the pieces were getting smaller. Maybe you're right.
Maybe chickens just dont grow as big as they used to? lol
If I got a bucket of tiny chicken I'd complain and ask for another piece.

You re all wrong. Corporate America knows very well what everyone is willing to pay for a particular product...no matter how big and juicy it is or used to be. So, they keep the price the same, or raise it very slightly, but take out more and more of the product. It s all marketing done by highly educated people making into the 6 figures each year.
Look at the grocery store and you will see prices hovering around where they were a year or 2 ago, but the actual package size is going down. Consumer psychology is heavily studied and the results are known. Your coffee can may look bigger than ever, but more and more of it is air. LOL you bunch of dummies.
Look at a kid s cereal aisle. Boxes look about right on the shelf - what you re used to from Post, General Mills, Kelloggs, etc, but pick it up and see how thick it is. Yep. Lots of air.

Well, maybe they were running short and since you ordered eight pieces, maybe they just put all that they had left in there even though it was smaller. We have to do that sometimes when we are so almost out of something (such as onions). Our burritos just get a little less onions in order to make them last until our next shipment comes in. Prices are going up though and things are getting smaller. At Taco Bell, our Nachos and Cheese went up, however, the bags got smaller! And our Quesadilla combo was only $4.29 for the longest time, but yesterday I realized that it is now $4.79! Inflation is causing the prices of everything to go up; food, clothes, gas, etc. Unfortuante and sad, but true!

I totally agree. I rarely eat fast food, but I saw a co-worker eating a 4 piece and I swear that chicken looked like it was a robin instead of chicken. They probably call themselves jacking up the prices because they have "supposedly" lowered the fat.

Yes, I've noticed that too. The last time I went there I was really surprised at how little chicken I received, but the price was the same.
