A good site where you can get more information about ovarian cancer is at: http://www.cancer.org

Also, there is a site called the Ovarian Cancer Association or something like that. You can find out more about these specific groups thru general searches as well as at the site listed above and also at WebMD.com

15 is not too young. Death and dying are very real. Why hide the fact? I hate to tell you this, but things do not look promising at all for your aunt. Ovarian cancer is horrible, much worse than breast cancer, and it tends to spread quickly.
Because it's spread to her bones, there is very little that can be done. Of course, she may continue treatments, but even if they prolong her life a little, the side effects are miserable. Pain management is very important. I sincerely hope she's getting it. I truly am very sorry. Wish I could have given you something positive to look forward to, but I do not believe in giving false hopes. I wish you and your aunt peace.

I am truly sorry to hear about your aunt. I will be keeping her and your family in my prayers. Cancer is a vicious disease that has left its terrible mark on so many lives. I found the following statistics on cancer.org.

Of the estimated 559,650 people who will die of cancer in 2007, almost all will have metastasis. But certain cancers are more likely to spread to bone. These are breast, prostate, kidney, thyroid, and lung. In people with breast and prostate cancer, it is most often the first distant site where the cancer will spread. One expert estimated that about 350,000 people in the United States who die of cancer have bone metastases.
