Watch for sales- as for what to buy look around you at your folks home. think about the things you and your family use every day. you will need to furnish kitchen, bath and bedroom. Pots and pans, spoons and forks, dishes, sheets, towels, cleaning supplies. Your question is very nearly overwhelming in its scope.

That's silly. Why would you buy something today without even knowing where you'll be living!

Open a savings account and start putting aside some cash for that day when you have a place picked out and you're on your own for the first time.

Finding someone to spend your money at won't be too hard to find.. but having the money at the right time is the trick.

Enjoy the journey... life can be fun if you want it to be!

Oh good grief! Who told you that? No don't buy stuff. If you go out and charge stuff on credit you may not be approved for a loan. If you are truely planning on buying a home, then you need to be saving your money, not spending it. You can always get stuff later.

Don't buy anything now ! You will just have to pay someone a fortune to move it !
Smart people get rid of most stuff before they move .
Save your $$$ and buy what you need When you get your place .
Do NOT waste $$$ moving stuff you bought early .
