november is generally considered to be the end of the Hurricane season so you have great odds of not having a problem. Also Hurricane Dean just plowed into the Mex coast and, historically, once a Hurricane has hit in a certain area the odds of another one hitting the same coast are slim and none. But... You have to remember that the global warming situation is changing our weather at and alarming rate. There have been more storms with more power than have been experienced before so Check your weather sites in the time coming up to your departure date. Here is a good site for you.

It's the end of hurricane season (Nov 30th) Most likely no hurricane but you can't predict the weather.

Go and enjoy. You'll have plenty of notice if one does develop.
