I tried to read "What to expect when you're expecting" But it just lacked anything interesting. It was all facts of course. I reccomend either "The girlfriends guide to pregnancy" Or "Belly Laughs". Both are informative and can keep your attention. "The girlfriends guide to pregnancy" even has little tidbits of info where it says to hand the book to dad and its just a little bit of info for him to read occasionaly. I personally loved it.

I am single, so I can't say for dad to be, but I have really enjoyed The Pregnancy Bible more than anything else. I have lost interest in What to Expect When You're Expecting, but probably because I made the mistake of reading it cover to cover in the first week after I found out I was pregnant. I have also got a couple of your pregnancy week by week type books which are fun. You might also find it fun to sign up for weekly email alerts giving you new pregnancy facts each week. I enjoy Babygaga.com and babyfit.com the most, but also like the ones from Ivillage and Americanbaby.com
Good luck and congrats!

I'm pregnant at the moment and I think I have them all! The most helpful as been "What to expect while you expecting" . Its easy to search for answers and my husband refers to it all the time too. I also found the "girlfreinds guide to pregnancy" and "your pregnancy weeks by week" helpful. The girlfreinds guide was super funny! I would suggest spending some time in Barnes and Nobles or your local book store flipping through them before you buy a load like me! I've also found the net to be a great source of answers!

The Mother of all Baby Books.

Believe me, I've got all the d*mned books. I mean, I liked What To Expect but I think The Mother of all Baby Books is more down to earth. Not hippy, just normal. And it has all of these tips from real mothers on every page. It's interesting and practical. Not that having a baby is practical of course.

what to expect when your expecting is a great book that helps. My boyfriend and I read the whole thing while I was pregnant and it really filled us in on what to expect month to month.

Your Pregnancy week by week. I lost my copy or let someone borrow it. It is written by an OB/GYN and it has tips for dads in each chapter.
